Welcome to Amas. These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') apply between you (the 'Customer') and Deep Spice Ltd ('Amas', 'we', or 'us'). By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Amas is the trading name of Deep Spice Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. The Products: Descriptions & Allergies

  • Natural Variations: Our condiments are made with natural ingredients. You acknowledge that images on our website are for illustrative purposes; actual packaging and product color or texture may vary slightly between batches.

  • The Source of Truth (Allergies): While we aim for 100% accuracy online, do not solely rely on the website for allergy information. You must read the physical labels and packaging provided with the Products before consumption. Our products are produced in environments where nuts and other allergens are present.

3. Orders & Contract Formation

  • The Process: When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This is not an acceptance of your order.

  • Acceptance: A legally binding contract ('Your Contract') is only formed when we send you a Dispatch Confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order (e.g., if stock is unavailable or there is a pricing error).

4. Shipping & 3PL Logistics

We use a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partner to fulfill orders and external couriers for delivery.

  • Estimates Only: All delivery dates are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by our delivery partners, strikes, or weather events.

  • Title and Risk: Ownership passes to you once we receive full payment. Risk of damage or loss passes to you the moment the product is delivered to your specified address or "safe place."

  • Delivery Accuracy: We accept no liability (including refunds or replacements) for failed deliveries if you provided an incorrect address or failed to collect the order from a local depot.

5. Returns & Your Right to Cancel (The "Food Safety" Rule)

In accordance with UK Consumer Law regarding perishable goods and hygiene:

  • No Change of Mind: You do not have a right to cancel or return your order for a "change of mind" once the order has been processed. For health and hygiene reasons, all food sales are final.

  • Damaged Jars: If your jars arrive smashed or the safety seal is compromised, we will replace or refund the items.

  • The 48-Hour Rule: To claim a refund or replacement, you must notify us at hello@amassauces.com with clear photo evidence of the damaged jar and the shipping box within 48 hours of delivery. After this window, we are unable to process claims against our 3PL or couriers.

6. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for any failure to perform our obligations if caused by an act or event beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, severe weather, or breakdown of transport networks.

7. Limitation of Liability

We supply Products for domestic and private use only. If you use our products for any commercial or re-sale purpose, Deep Spice Ltd will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Your Contract are governed by English Law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
